The Office of the US Trade Representative has opened a public consultation on the operation of the USMCA ahead of the agreement’s 2027 joint review. Written comments and requests to appear at a public hearing are due by 12 January 2027. The agreement remains in force, and qualifying goods continue to trade under its rules while the review takes place.
